3d Print - Packaging - and Promotion

1. Move, Scale and Rotate your objects (primitives)

2. Choose your primitives here: cube, sphere,
cylinder, etc….
3. 3. Pan, Zoom, and navigate your through the 3d
world or hold down 1,2, and 3 while using your left mouse button. You can also
zoom in and out using the middle mouse button

4. This is your object manager. Here you can select
which is the “active” object

5. This is model mode. You will want to make sure
this is actively selected while placing and manipulating your primitives.

6. Point mode. If you make a primitive “editable”
by selecting it in the object manager and pressing C or right clicking on it
and choose make editable you can manipulate the object by selecting points.
7.
7. Polygon mode. If you make a primitive “editable”
by selecting it in the object manager and pressing C or right clicking on it
and choose make editable you can manipulate the object by selecting polygons.
8.
8. Slice various primitives as well as increase the
amount of segments for a smoother finished model (print)

-Understand how to use the pen tool to draw shapes and paths
-Know how to change and adjust the stroke and fill color of objects
-Create text as well as place it on a path and in a shape
-How to group and ungroup objects
-How to move objects forward and backward within an image
-How to use the pathfinder to combine, exclude, unite, and overlap shapes
-How to live trace a raster graphic
-How to rotate, scale, and reflect objects as well as establish a new point of transformation
-How to select and direct select
-How to install a font
