_Create a poster using raster and vector. Using Photoshop and Illustrator create a poster that is for a band of your choice. These should be 11X17 in size and 300 dpi (for print). Use vector clip art as an element (you can find them below at dafont). Consider using photos and illustrations that you create rather than relying on web images. Be creative and original. Use typography effectively and elegantly.

_Draw a floor plan of your dream house. Be creative. Use a vector program. Refer to the examples.

PROJECT FOR MONDAY APRIL 9th

NEWSLETTER (2 PAGES)
Design two pages of a newsletter in Illustrator for a real or fictitious business (use the business you created your logo). It must include: a banner (masterhead), 1 graph, 2 photos, headlines, and artistic graphic elements to make it look organized and professional. Use the grid, guides, golden ratio, and other devices to create aesthetic cohesion between the various elements.

To those traveling East on I-40

Thanks for the update. I got the alert just before class and knew the Crossville students would be effected by this traffic. I hope all are safe and I will post an update on the blog regarding homework and next weeks assignment.

I was going to upload this when I got to class, but traffic is horrible and I wont be able to make it.

Interstate 40 closed at exit 338

There is a bad wreck on interstate 40. I sat in traffic for over an hour and didn't move a mile. They are diverting miles of traffic to 70( a curvy two lane road). I would expect students from Crossville to be absent or extremely late and irate, considering I left two hours early and there was no way I was going to make it there on time.
