Chair Progress

Edit: updated layout (I can't get the extra tiny piece of line to erase on the back seat part because it tries to erase the entire line, but figured it would be fine when it came time to print since it can be smoothed off)

I had to rework the lauyout again because the triangle base (seat part) was not big enough to space out the stool legs. As you can tell I had to use the wall as support due to the lack of spacing. I tried an approach to bend the leg pieces in half for a “3D” look but it’s not what I want. (And it doesn’t look that great since it’s flimsy paper)

I printed out my design, then cut the sides out of cardboard and the slats out of paper.

This is obviously a very rough mockup. There will be more slats to make up the seat and back. After printing, I added a sun design to burn into the top part of the chair back.

This is the concept I have, I haven't gotten to the separate layout pieces yet but I know how I want to do them. It's going to be a stool

I will probably rework the back and seat of this so they fit the sides.

Rachel Moore - Digital Collages - Project 2

These are images and quotes that give me comfort, joy, and inspiration.

I took these photos except for:
signatures, palm stamp, waffles, Waffle House, and space photos
(they are from the James Webb Space Telescope—every white spot in the background is a galaxy with ~100 billion stars!).

Waffles is my bestest buddy. He loves stealing food, whether right off your plate or by digging in the trash. We have since gotten a trash can with a lid.
