I've started working on our "4 Piece Project" on Photoshop. The correlation of my four pieces are the four elements: Fire, Earth, Water and Air. I'm focusing these pieces mostly on connotation and symbolism.

PROJECT 1 - FOUR DIGITAL PAINTINGS - DUE on the blog by Sept 8th
We are currently working on 4
digital paintings that are tied together in some way (color, texture, subject matter, a series, something changing over time, etc.) and sized at 1920 x 1080 at 72 DPI (you can find this
under file new > web > most common large). The paintings can be of
any subject and can be realistic or abstract. Be creative and have
fun with this assignment and remember to use all the brushes options as well as
make your own brushes. Please let me know if you have any questions!!
Look back through the blog for other student examples of a series of four digital paitings.

Keiran Olewnik
I have read the syllabus and am super excited for this class this semester! I have always been interested in art as a whole, and am excited to learn more about digital arts!
Intro
Hey, I'm Alec (He/Him), I'm sort of a digital artist already, but where I am now "Digital Doodler" might be a bit more apt. My favorite subject matter for art is cartoony monsters (Dragons, Demons, Daikaiju, etc) and I've been doodling my whole life. My lineart is a bit rough at the moment and I'm experimenting with mediums currently. If you ever meet me in real life, do not ask to see my art, I'm super embarrassed by it and I'm taking this class to get better at deadlines and to generally feel more confidant in my art.
